PS Tech Group has its roots in the ten original Private School Tech Conferences that were conducted at Fort Worth Christian School while Brooks Kennedy was their Director of Technology. With the attendance ranging from 20 at the first conference to over 150 at the later conferences, Brooks soon realized the need for someone to help private schools with their technology.
Being a RenWeb "super user" since 2003, Brooks also found that a lot of schools needed help, troubleshooting, training, and encourage in their use of the RenWeb School Information System. In conjunction with his Private School Tech Conferences at Fort Worth Christian, Brooks organized and hosted the first three RenWeb User Meetings, which led RenWeb to begin hosting a national convention.
Having designed websites since 1994, Brooks has also seen the need for help with websites for churches, schools, non-profits, and small businesses. Many times, these smaller organizations don't have the same resources available that larger organizations have in order to have professional websites. PS Tech Group markets a Content Management System that is specifically developed for these organizations to give a professional look to their websites at a lower cost. In addition, we have just added a new Content Management System for real estate brokers and agents which automatically connects to their local MLS.
Brooks has always been a different kind of teacher - focusing more on the students learning the how and why than the what. Now, technology gives schools the opportunity to change their teaching/learning model into one needed by 21st century students.
